From Imam malik, may Allah be pleased with him, in his Muwatta: ‘al-Qaasim bin Muhammad used to say, “I met a group of people [i.e. the Companions] who were not impressed by words”‘. Malik said, ‘What he is referring to is action: they do not look at what a person says but rather what he does.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
